To mark the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Gujarat-based solar manufacturer Goldi Solar has unveiled a groundbreaking innovation—the world’s largest solar PV module, named NaMo Saur Samrat. Developed at the company’s manufacturing facility in Kosamba, Gujarat, the launch is a tribute to the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to driving India’s renewable energy revolution.
The NaMo Saur Samrat is more than just a solar panel—it represents a monumental manufacturing achievement that reflects the ambition, precision, and scale of a new era in Indian innovation. According to Goldi Solar, this initiative honors the Prime Minister’s pivotal role in establishing India as a global leader in solar energy. While China may have pioneered solar PV manufacturing, India today exemplifies Atmanirbhar Bharat at its best—showing the world that when it comes to self-reliance at scale, India is leading from the front.
Symbolic Dimensions: 75 Inches for 75 Years
Engineered with symbolic dimensions of 75 inches in width and 150 inches in length, the module commemorates the Prime Minister’s 75th year. This unique design combines meaningful symbolism with engineering excellence. With a power output of 1750 Wp, the module sets a new global standard for scale, efficiency, and innovation in the solar industry.
The massive panel integrates advanced TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology, enhancing power generation and efficiency by minimizing energy losses. Goldi Solar’s incorporation of next-generation technology into a module of this magnitude highlights its leadership in precision-driven, future-ready solar manufacturing.
With an aggressive expansion strategy, Goldi Solar has scaled its production capacity to 14.7 GW, with plans for further growth underway.
Speaking on this landmark occasion, Capt. Ishver Dholakia, Founder & Managing Director of Goldi Solar, said, “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is advancing decisively towards sustainability, having already achieved over half of its 2030 target of 500 GW renewable energy capacity. The NaMo Saur Samrat is a landmark achievement—a symbol of India’s Atmanirbhar strength and a shining example of manufacturing excellence on a global stage. This is our greatest tribute to the Prime Minister and our commitment to building a greener, self-reliant India that will power generations to come.”
