Havells India Ltd. has appointed Ashish Parikh as President & Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Head, strengthening its leadership team as the company focuses on accelerating business growth, expanding its product portfolio, and driving innovation across its consumer businesses.

In his new role, Parikh will lead the strategic direction and growth of the SBU, with responsibilities spanning business expansion, operational excellence, product innovation, and enhancing Havells’ consumer-centric offerings across key product categories. His appointment comes as the company continues to strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing electrical and consumer appliances market.

Parikh joins Havells with extensive leadership experience across the FMCG and consumer goods industries, having built a career spanning sales, commercial strategy, category development, omnichannel growth and business transformation.

Before joining Havells India, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at DIAGEO India, where he was responsible for driving business operations and growth initiatives. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening operational performance and supporting the company’s expansion in the Indian market.

Prior to DIAGEO, Parikh spent several years at Reckitt, holding multiple regional and global leadership positions. These included Global Omnichannel and Category Development Director, Global Shopper Marketing Director – Health Hygiene, Sales Director for Hong Kong & Macau, and Head – Modern Trade & E-Commerce for India. In these roles, he led commercial strategy, digital commerce initiatives, category growth and customer engagement across international markets.

Earlier in his career, Parikh worked with Marico Limited for nearly six years, where he managed modern trade and regional sales operations, helping expand the company’s market presence. He began his professional journey with PepsiCo and Agro Tech Foods Limited, gaining broad experience in sales management and consumer marketing.

His appointment reflects Havells India’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capabilities to support long-term growth and innovation. As consumer demand evolves and technology becomes increasingly integrated into electrical products, the company is expected to further enhance its market position through product development, operational efficiency and customer-focused strategies.

Havells India is one of the country’s leading fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) companies, with a diversified portfolio spanning cables, wires, switches, lighting, fans, home appliances, water heaters, air conditioners and consumer electrical products. The company has also expanded its presence in energy-efficient technologies and smart electrical solutions, supporting India’s growing focus on sustainable infrastructure and electrification.

With Havells India Ashish Parikh taking charge as President & Strategic Business Unit Head, the company is expected to accelerate innovation, strengthen execution, and expand its consumer-focused portfolio while reinforcing its leadership in India’s electrical equipment and consumer technology market.
