Hoymiles has launched the HoyUltra 2000M, a full-scenario commercial and industrial (C&I) battery energy storage system (BESS), during the opening stop of its European C&I Energy Storage Roadshow in Budapest on September 24–25, 2026. The roadshow is designed to showcase Hoymiles’ C&I energy storage portfolio and project experience to developers, investors and industry partners across European markets.
Europe’s C&I energy storage market is entering a more project-driven stage, where opportunities increasingly depend not only on technology, but also on project economics, safety, certification and execution. In this context, Hoymiles takes its C&I BESS expertise directly to local markets through a European roadshow tour, presenting how its new HoyUltra 2000M makes a difference for businesses.
Co-organized with GNX, the Budapest roadshow covered European storage market trends, C&I business opportunities, certification, project development and operational returns. “By partnering with Hoymiles, we bring together technology and local market experience to help European customers explore practical opportunities in C&I energy storage”, said GNX CEO Daniel Racsek.
Experts from S&P Global Commodity Insights, LCP Delta and TÜV SÜD shared perspectives on market trends, business models, European standards and safety requirements. In a keynote presentation, Susanne von Aichberger, Principal Analyst at S&P Global Commodity Insights, described C&I BESS as “a market coming of age”. Overall, BESS is transforming from an emerging market to a critical infrastructure.
The HoyUltra 2000M is a full-scenario C&I energy storage solution for applications from small commercial systems to large-scale projects. The platform already covers small, mid-size and large C&I use cases, with more than 2 GWh of Hoymiles C&I storage in operation worldwide.
“As the European C&I market evolves, customers need more than individual products. They need solutions that can address different project scenarios and the realities of deployment,” said Guy Rong, Hoymiles Vice President.
On the following day, participants visited a local C&I solar-plus-storage project in Hungary, where 16 HoyUltra 2000M systems were deployed.
For Hoymiles, the Budapest event represents more than a product launch. It reflects the company’s ambition to deepen its presence in Europe’s C&I energy storage market and work more closely with local partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Following Budapest, the roadshow will continue across multiple European cities, bringing Hoymiles’ full-scenario C&I energy storage solutions and local market engagement to more customers and partners.
