    This Mobility Firm Plans to Launch Battery Production Plant in Gujarat

    Jindal Worldwide’s subsidiary, Jindal Mobilitric has revealed that it will be setting up a state-of-the-art electric two-wheeler manufacturing plant in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

    Jindal Mobilitric The plant will have a production capacity of 250,000 vehicles annually.

    Further, Jindal Mobilitric will also set up an in-house fully automated battery manufacturing plant with similar production capacity, the company said in a statement.

    “The objective of setting-up in-house battery plant is to ensure highest level of battery safety which will bring consumer trust on EV Products resulting in faster adoption of EV in India,” the company said.

    The company is planning to launch electric two-wheeler range of products in April 2023, targeting premium, executive and mass Segment consumers and the first E-2W Teaser is out on JM social media Platform.

    In addition to the plant in Ahmedabad, JM is also establishing an Exclusive Experience Center in Kathmandu, Nepal and an exclusive dealership network in 40 cities across 10 states in India.
