Juniper Green Energy Limited has commissioned an additional 15.5 MW of wind power capacity through its wholly owned subsidiary, Juniper Green Stellar Private Limited. With this addition, the subsidiary’s project-specific operational capacity has increased to 368.95 MWp, while the company’s total operational renewable energy portfolio has reached approximately 2,740 MWp across India.
The company’s operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity currently stands at 603 MWh. The latest wind capacity addition forms part of its ongoing expansion of renewable energy projects, including firm and dispatchable renewable energy developments.
The newly commissioned capacity is part of a phased rollout associated with the subsidiary’s 200 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy project, which has a planned capacity of 550.6 MWp.
Before the latest commissioning, Juniper Green Stellar’s operational project capacity stood at 353.45 MWp. The addition of 15.5 MW has increased this figure to 368.95 MWp. At the group level, operational capacity has grown from approximately 2,725 MWp to 2,740 MWp.
In September 2026, Juniper Green Energy commissioned 100.64 MWh of BESS capacity at Bikaner, taking its total operational battery storage capacity to approximately 600 MWh at that time. During the same month, the company also fully commissioned a 75 MW hybrid project with Tata Power and reported partial commissioning of wind projects across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
With the latest addition, Juniper Green Energy’s operational portfolio comprises approximately 2,740 MWp of renewable energy capacity and 603 MWh of battery energy storage capacity.
