EDF power solutions India has appointed Kanwaljit Singh Chadha as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its renewable energy business in the Indian market.
Chadha brings nearly three decades of international experience across contract management, commercial strategy, infrastructure development, energy, defence and large-scale engineering projects.
Before joining the India leadership role, Chadha served as Contracts & Commercial Director at EDF in Tokyo, where he was responsible for commercial and contractual functions associated with major international projects.
During his career, Chadha has held senior positions with several multinational organizations, including DCNS (Naval Group), Technip, Razel, KPMG and Bec Freres. His experience spans multiple sectors and markets, with a focus on commercial management, contracts and large-scale infrastructure projects.
His appointment comes as EDF Power Solutions India continues to strengthen its presence in India’s growing renewable energy sector. The company is involved in the development of renewable energy projects and is focused on supporting the country’s transition toward a cleaner energy mix.
With his extensive international experience in commercial and contractual leadership, Chadha is expected to contribute to EDF Power Solutions India’s growth and project development activities in the Indian renewable energy market.
