Kazam has been recognised as one of the world’s most innovative energy startups by being included in the prestigious SET100 List 2025. Further solidifying its global impact, Kazam has also been named a finalist for the SET Award 2025, making it the only Indian company and the only EV charging solutions provider among the 15 selected finalists.

Curated by the German Energy Agency (dena) and the World Energy Council, the SET100 List highlights startups that are driving the energy transition through disruptive innovations. Selected from over 350 applications across 68 countries, Kazam has been recognised for its advanced EV charging ecosystem, which not only enables seamless charger-to-vehicle connectivity but also integrates smart grid solutions. By optimizing energy distribution and prioritising demand flexibility, Kazam ensures faster charging, reduces grid stress, and enhances the overall efficiency of EV adoption.

In addition to being part of the SET100 List, Kazam is among the 15 global finalists for the prestigious SET Award 2025. As a finalist in the Mobility & Transportation category, Kazam joins innovative startups like Nyobolt Ltd. (UK) and Basquevolt S.A. (Spain)—reinforcing its position as a leader in EV charging technology.

The SET Award 2025 ceremony was held on March 18, 2025, at the SET Tech Festival in Berlin, where all 15 finalists will present their breakthrough solutions before an international jury of renowned energy experts.

Akshay Shekhar, CEO and Co-founder, expressed his excitement, “Being named among the world’s top 100 energy startups and a finalist for the SET Award 2025 is a huge milestone for Kazam and for India’s EV industry. This recognition reaffirms our mission to build a smart, sustainable, and scalable gateway to energy that not only accelerates electric mobility but also strengthens grid resilience.”
