KP Green Engineering Limited has secured fresh orders worth ₹258.02 crore, including taxes, across solar, infrastructure and engineering segments, strengthening its order pipeline for the current financial year. At the same time, affiliate KPI Green Energy Limited is advancing its large-scale renewable energy portfolio, with solar, hybrid, wind and battery energy storage projects progressing across Gujarat.
The latest order wins take KP Green Engineering’s cumulative confirmed order intake for the current financial year to ₹497.64 crore, providing stronger revenue visibility and reinforcing its presence across renewable and infrastructure supply chains.
Solar and Infrastructure Orders Drive Growth
Solar-related contracts form the largest share of the latest awards at ₹114.53 crore. These include fixed-tilt module mounting structures and tracker-based mounting structures for solar projects.
The company has also secured ₹92.38 crore worth of crash barrier orders for railway track fencing and related applications. Pre-engineered building structures account for another ₹33.76 crore, while transmission tower materials and substation equipment structures contribute ₹15.42 crore.
Additional orders cover poles, highmasts and isolators, further broadening KP Green Engineering’s engineering and infrastructure portfolio.
KPI Green Energy Advances 2.57 GWp IPP Portfolio
KPI Green Energy’s independent power producer (IPP) portfolio currently stands at 2.57 GWp, of which approximately 1.16 GWp has been energized, while around 1.41 GWp remains under active execution.
The projects are supported by long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) of up to 25 years, creating a contracted revenue base for the company.
The company recently commissioned its 200 MW/240 MWp Khavda solar project at the GSECL-developed solar park in Gujarat. The project is now supplying electricity under a PPA with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
KPI Green Energy has also achieved early grid synchronization of a 50 MW/92.15 MWp hybrid project, comprising 16.95 MW of wind and 75.2 MWp of solar capacity, ahead of its scheduled commercial operation date.
Hybrid Capacity and Battery Storage Scale Up
Under its 620 MW/1,027 MWp solar and hybrid IPP agreements with GUVNL, KPI Green Energy has commissioned 180.70 MW/251.13 MWp of a 250 MW/350 MWp solar project in phases, with the remaining capacity under execution.
Meanwhile, an additional 130 MW/195 MWp was energized in August 2026 under the company’s 370 MW/677 MWp hybrid project, taking total commissioned capacity to 269.70 MW/389.70 MWp.
The company is also expanding into wind and energy storage. Its 150 MW wind project has achieved financial closure and is moving toward commissioning, while PPA signing is underway for another 300 MW wind IPP project.
Through subsidiary Sun Drops Energia Limited, the group has signed battery energy storage purchase agreements with GUVNL for two standalone BESS projects totaling 565 MW/1,130 MWh.
With new engineering orders and a rapidly expanding renewable and storage portfolio, the group is strengthening its position across solar infrastructure, hybrid power, wind energy and utility-scale battery energy storage.
