Livguard Strengthens Kashmir Presence

Livguard, a leading provider of energy storage solutions in India, has expanded its footprint in Jammu & Kashmir with the launch of its first Exclusive Business Outlet (EBO) in Anantnag. The new outlet has been established in partnership with Livguard’s newly appointed distributor, Malik Solar Agency, and is aimed at improving access to the company’s energy storage products and solutions for customers across the region.

The new outlet marks an important step in Livguard’s retail expansion strategy, bringing its comprehensive portfolio closer to consumers in the region. The EBO offers customers a one-stop destination to explore Livguard’s range of solutions, including Energy Storage Solutions, Smart Lithium Solutions, Solar Solutions, Home Power Backup Systems and Batteries for diverse applications.

The launch marks Livguard’s expansion into the Kashmir market and strengthens its ability to serve the evolving power requirements of households, businesses and other consumers in Anantnag and surrounding areas. The outlet will provide customers with greater access to Livguard’s portfolio, enabling them to explore and choose solutions suited to their specific energy and power backup needs.

The expansion comes at a time when Jammu & Kashmir’s electricity consumer base continues to grow. According to the Jammu & Kashmir Economic Survey 2025-26, the number of electricity consumers in the region reached 24.59 lakh by November 2025. This expanding consumer base presents an opportunity for Livguard to address the region’s evolving energy storage and power backup requirements.

For Livguard, the launch also provides an opportunity to gain deeper insights into local customer needs while strengthening engagement with consumers and channel partners. The new outlet lays the foundation for expanding the company’s presence across Jammu & Kashmir and introducing its broader portfolio to more markets in the region.

Speaking on the expansion, Alankar Mittal, President, Livguard, said, “As we expand into new markets, our priority is to make dependable and future-ready energy solutions more accessible to consumers. Jammu & Kashmir presents an important opportunity for Livguard, and the launch of our first Exclusive Business Outlet in Anantnag marks an important step in strengthening our presence in the region. Through this outlet, we aim to offer consumers greater choice, easier access and solutions tailored to their evolving power needs, while building stronger relationships with our local partners. This is an important beginning for Livguard, and we look forward to reaching more consumers and markets across Jammu & Kashmir.”

The Anantnag location is a component of Livguard’s larger plan to increase its retail presence in high-potential locations and expand its customer base. Building on this launch, the business intends to investigate prospects in more important Kashmiri markets, broadening its scope and fortifying its network of channels throughout the area.
