Om Power Transmission Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for a contract valued at ₹24.03 crore, including GST, for the laying, erection, testing and commissioning of a 66 kV underground cable network in Gujarat.
The project involves the development of an approximately 5.17-km-long 66 kV underground cable route. The scope of work covers the complete execution cycle, including the supply of required materials, cable laying, erection, testing and commissioning of the underground network.
The contract, awarded by a domestic entity, has a total value of ₹24,026,756.72, including GST. Om Power Transmission is expected to complete the project within 12 months from the date of commencement.
The order adds to the company’s project portfolio in the power transmission infrastructure segment, particularly in the area of underground cable systems. Under the contract, Om Power Transmission will be responsible for executing the project from the supply stage through to final commissioning.
The LoI from GETCO further expands the company’s involvement in power transmission infrastructure and highlights its capabilities in delivering end-to-end underground cable installation projects.
