Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Bharat PetroResources Limited (BPRL), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to enhance strategic cooperation in the upstream exploration sector in the country. The MoU was inked on the sidelines of the India Energy Week (IEW) 2026 event, which took place at the ONGC Advanced Training Institute (ATI) in Goa, and represents an important milestone in the development of joint exploration ventures in the context of the announced bid rounds by the Government of India.
