Sanjay Kumar brings more than 25 years of experience across renewable energy, power generation, project development, engineering, and infrastructure execution. His extensive industry background spans large-scale renewable projects, power plant operations, and energy infrastructure development.

Before joining JSW Energy, Sanjay Kumar served as Vice President – Project Development & Execution at Sembcorp Industries Ltd., where he led project development and execution in the energy sector.

Earlier, he held the position of Assistant Vice President – Projects at Adani Green Energy Ltd., where he contributed to the implementation and execution of large-scale renewable energy projects. His experience in managing complex solar and renewable energy initiatives adds significant value to his new role.

Sanjay Kumar has also held leadership positions at Jindal Power Limited as General Manager – Projects and at Tata Power Company Limited in Power Plant Operations. These roles have helped him build strong expertise across both conventional power generation and renewable energy sectors.

In his new role as Senior Vice President – Solar at JSW Energy, Sanjay Kumar will focus on supporting the company’s solar energy portfolio, project execution capabilities, and renewable energy growth strategy.

JSW Energy has been expanding its presence in renewable energy as part of its long-term strategy to increase clean energy capacity and contribute to India’s energy transition goals.
