With collaborations announced with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) such as Hyundai, ChargeMOD, and GLIDA, Statiq intends to add up to 5,000 new EV chargers to its network in the next two years. The purpose of this strategic expansion is to improve the EV charging experience by giving users access to real-time transaction capabilities and information via the Statiq app. EV users will be able to plan trips, find charging stations, and handle transactions all in one location with the aid of the app.

India’s rapid EV adoption trend emphasises how urgently a reliable and easily accessible charging infrastructure is needed.

Through their partnership with CPO partners, Statiq will seamlessly integrate all of its charging stations into the Statiq mobile app, providing users with easy access to a vast network of both planned and existing chargers. It is anticipated that this project will greatly simplify the EV charging experience for consumers.

Raghav Arora, Co-founder & CTO of Statiq, stated, “With our combined efforts, we aim to scale up our current network of 7,000 chargers to 20,000 by the end of 2025, serving our growing base of 1.5 lakh users.” This ambitious plan reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the increasing number of EV users in India.

The rapid rise in electric vehicle sales in India, particularly in the two-wheeler segment, underscores the critical need for expanded charging infrastructure. In 2023, total EV sales in India reached 1.53 million, up from 1.02 million in 2022, showcasing a strong growth trajectory in EV adoption. This partnership is poised to further accelerate the transition to electric mobility by making charging more convenient and accessible for all EV users.
