Vikram Solar Secures 200 MW Solar Module Order from AB Energia

Vikram Solar, an industry leader in manufacturing solar PV modules in India, has recently reported having placed a large new order of 200 MW high-efficiency solar modules by AB Energia, an end-to-end EPC provider of commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects.

Advanced M10R N-Type TOPCon modules are also part of the order with a rating of 590 Wp and above that will provide better performance, reliability, and energy yields. The modules will be rolled out in three of the most solar-progressive states in India which include Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, which are rapidly increasing in the adoption of clean energy.

The deliveries on this order will start in September 2025 and finish in early 2026 in line with the momentum of growth of India in renewable energy.

    Regarding the development

Vikram Solar emphasized that this new order is the sign of the ongoing trust and confidence of AB Energia and underlines a good partnership that is based on the excellence of the execution, innovations, and the commitment towards the transition of India towards renewable energy.

Not only will the deal secure Vikram Solar as a market leader in providing solar solutions in India, but it will also highlight the importance of AB Energia in financing the implementation of clean energy in the C&I market. The two firms will have a significant role to play in the goals of sustainability and renewable energy in India.
