Waaree Group has appointed Dr. Aman Jha as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing extensive experience in technology leadership, power electronics, renewable energy and product development to the organisation.
Jha joins Waaree Group after serving at Havells India Ltd, where he held senior leadership positions including General Manager – Renewable Energy & Power Electronics and General Manager – Lighting Electronics. During his tenure, he worked across technology and product-focused functions, contributing to the development and advancement of electronics and energy-related solutions.
Prior to Havells, Jha was associated with STMicroelectronics, where he served as Sr. Staff Engineer-MTS (PMIC), gaining experience in power management integrated circuits and semiconductor technologies.
His professional journey also includes leadership and engineering roles at Barco, where he worked as Engineering Manager – Power Electronics, Allegro MicroSystems as System Engineer – PMIC, and Delta Electronics India as Senior Engineer.
With experience spanning power electronics, renewable energy, engineering, product innovation and technology development, Jha brings a broad technology-oriented perspective to his new role at Waaree Group.
His appointment comes as the renewable energy industry continues to witness rapid technological development, with advancements in power electronics, energy systems, manufacturing technologies and digital solutions playing an increasingly important role in the sector.
As CTO, Jha is expected to contribute to Waaree Group’s technology strategy and innovation initiatives, leveraging his experience across renewable energy and electronics to support the company’s ongoing technology and product development efforts.
The appointment further strengthens Waaree Group’s leadership capabilities as the company continues to expand its presence across India’s rapidly evolving renewable energy ecosystem.
