EMO Energy, an Indian energy-tech company developing advanced battery and energy systems for commercial electric mobility, reported strong operational growth in the second quarter of FY2026-27 (July–September 2026). The company’s cumulative battery pack deployments reached 25,000 units, marking a 31.6% increase from 19,000 units at the end of Q1. The growth was driven by continued adoption of its battery intelligence, energy management and charging technologies among commercial EV fleets with high utilisation rates.
During the quarter, EMO Energy delivered 3,807 MWh of energy across its network, an increase of 35.4% over Q1. Monthly energy delivery grew 16.3% within the quarter, rising from 1,161 MWh in July to 1,350 MWh in September.
The company’s technology platform supported 25.38 million EV deliveries nationwide and powered 126.9 million kilometres of travel in Q2, up from 18.74 million deliveries and 93.69 million kilometres in the previous quarter. EMO Energy’s Q2 operations helped avoid an estimated 7,868 tonnes of CO₂e emissions, compared with 5,809 tonnes in Q1. This is equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of roughly 375,000 trees and underscores the environmental impact of electrifying last-mile and commercial logistics at scale.
“Q2 reflects the continued scale-up of electric mobility and the energy infrastructure that supports it,” said Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-founder, EMO Energy. “As utilisation rises, battery intelligence, thermal management and energy orchestration become critical to keeping commercial EVs reliable and efficient. Our focus is on building technology that supports this growth and makes the energy ecosystem more efficient and sustainable.”
As commercial EV adoption accelerates across logistics and delivery, EMO Energy remains focused on advancing battery and energy technologies that enable faster charging, higher reliability, better battery performance and more efficient energy use across commercial fleets.
Founded in 2022 by Sheetanshu Tyagi and Rahul Patel, EMO Energy is a Bengaluru-based deep energy-tech company focused on enabling mass EV adoption and building the energy infrastructure required for commercial electric mobility. Its technology stack spans battery engineering, thermal management, battery intelligence, charging infrastructure and energy management. EMO Energy’s systems are purpose-built for high-utilisation commercial EV applications, improving charging performance, battery life, reliability and overall fleet economics.
