Indian Green & Battery Stocks Roundup – September 29

Battery and clean energy stocks had mixed signals on August 12, 2025, as Waaree Technologies and CLN Energy Ltd. were offset by declines in Panasonic Energy India and High Energy Batteries. Market sentiment continued to be range-bound as investors absorbed quarterly earnings forecasts and considered when to expect new policy triggers in clean energy and EV manufacturing.

Waaree Technologies emerged as the winner for the day in Battery Stocks, advancing 2.00% to ₹304.05 with strong buying interest, ahead of expected announcements about upcoming solar module supply. CLN Energy Ltd. followed closely, rising 1.99% to ₹506.6, extending its rally for the second straight session. HBL Engineering Ltd. added 1.18% to ₹692, while Tata Power edged up 0.04% to ₹384.45. Amara Raja Energy closed almost flat, inching up 0.02% to ₹955.4.

On the downside, Panasonic Energy India slipped 2.35% to ₹335, the steepest fall of the day, amid subdued volumes. High Energy Batteries fell 1.15% to ₹624.95, while Indo-National Ltd. dropped 1.08% to ₹469.55. Eveready Industries India Ltd. eased 0.62% to ₹406.4, and Exide Industries declined 0.33% to ₹376.4, reflecting mild profit booking.

In terms of sector fundamentals, they remain undisturbed despite the mixed action as aided by government incentives, rise in domestic manufacturing capacity, and growing demand for energy storage and renewable integration.
