Inox Green Energy Services, a provider of operations and maintenance (O&M) services to the renewable energy market, has announced the growth of its solar portfolio today. The company signed deals to offer OM services to a cumulative 189.1 megawatt peak (MWp) of existing solar power developments in three Indian states.
The new contracts involve a 96.6 MWp deal with an international independent power producer (IPP) in the form of a global private equity for their Maharashtra projects. Inox Green also operates 92.5 MWp of solar power on behalf of another IPP, spread over locations in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
These new agreements have seen the solar O&M portfolio of Inox Green reach about 1.8 gigawatts (GW). Recent transactions now take the cumulative size of Inox Green’s renewable O&M to approximately 5.3 GW, both in wind and solar.
On this occasion, SK Mathu Sudhana, CEO of Inox Green, remarked, “We are pleased to have secured another 189.1 MWp of solar O&M agreements and rapidly expand in this segment. Inox Green has scaled up its solar O&M portfolio within a very short span of time, and we are continuously on the lookout for and participating in large-scale O&M opportunities across solar, wind, and RE infrastructure space. Being one of the leading renewable O&M services providers in the country, we are confident of capturing a significant portion of the upcoming opportunities and rapidly scaling up our portfolio in the coming years.”
