Mahindra is set to begin deliveries of its BE 6 and XEV 9e Pack Two electric SUVs with a new 79 kWh battery and enhanced features.

Mahindra will begin delivery of its Pack Two of its BE 6 and XEV 9e electric sports utility vehicles in the second half (end-July), further consolidating its position in the Indian EV market. The Pack Two will have a new battery with a 79 kWh usable capacity, priced as low as Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom). City range will be boosted up to 500 km.

Both of the models, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, will be offered with both 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs. The 59 kWh variant guarantees a maximum size of 400 km. The BE 6 commands a price range of Rs 18.90 lakh to Rs 26.90 lakh, whereas the XEV 9e has a price range of Rs 21.90 lakh to Rs 30.50 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom) based on the battery configuration.

They both are stacked with fancy high-end features of Mahindra in terms of technology and comfort. These include:

    • Harman Kardon home audio system of 16 speakers and Dolby Atmos
    • A glass ceiling in its entirety
    • ADAS level 2
    • three-screen Cinemascope screen on the XEV 9e
    • The Digital Cockpit in the BE 6 was inspired by motorsports

To make it even sweeter, new, high-quality sage leatherette interiors (previously Pack Three goodness only) are now found in the BE 6 Pack Two, and a roof lining has been given an ivory finish, making it altogether more satisfying to do inside the cabin.

Mahindra once again pinned its message focus on customer flexibility and satisfaction by stating that customers who have placed their orders but are awaiting delivery can opt to still receive a new 79 kWh battery.

Charger and installation are not included in all prices. At an extra cost, buyers have a choice between a 7.2 kW and an 11.2 kW home charger. The prices are subject to final pricing at delivery.

The brand sustains the momentum in the evolving Indian electric vehicle market as one Mahindra electric SUV is sold every 10 minutes, as per the company. Supporting Mahindra with a national service network of more than 300 points, the new update focuses on making high-performance electric mobility more available than ever before.
