Pace Digitek’s Lineage Power Crosses 300 BESS Containers, Delivering 1.5 GWh Battery Energy Storage Capacity

Pace Digitek BESS Containers reach 300, representing 1.5 GWh capacity, significantly strengthening India’s energy-storage manufacturing.

Pace Digitek Limited (NSE: PACEDIGITK | BSE: 544550) has achieved a significant manufacturing milestone through its subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited (LPPL), which has produced 300 utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) containers. Together, these containers represent approximately 1.5 GWh of battery energy storage capacity, reinforcing the Group’s growing presence in India’s energy-storage sector.

The milestone comes as Pace Digitek accelerates the expansion of its BESS manufacturing ecosystem to meet rising demand for large-scale storage solutions. The Company is increasing its existing 2.5 GWh capacity by a further 2.5 GWh, while developing an additional 5 GWh BESS manufacturing facility and an in-house container fabrication unit. These investments are set to enhance scale, strengthen backward integration, improve cost efficiency, and build stronger end-to-end execution capabilities across the BESS value chain.

The Company has developed an integrated BESS platform spanning manufacturing, engineering, system integration, EPC and long-term Operations & Maintenance (O&M). These capabilities enable Pace Digitek to deliver end-to-end battery energy storage solutions throughout the project lifecycle – from manufacturing and system integration to project execution and lifecycle services.

Battery energy storage is expected to play an increasingly important role in renewable energy integration and grid reliability. With its integrated capabilities and ongoing manufacturing expansion, Pace Digitek is focused on supporting the evolving requirements of utilities, renewable energy developers and commercial & industrial customers.
