Saatvik Green Energy Secures 600 MWp SECI Order Worth Rs 1,041.63 Crore

Saatvik Green Energy Limited has secured a 600 MWp order from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), valued at ₹1,041.63 crore, under a tender for the manufacturing, testing, packing, supply, and transportation of domestically manufactured solar photovoltaic (PV) modules using domestically produced solar cells. The order further adds to the company’s order book and strengthens its participation in India’s utility-scale solar projects that require locally manufactured solar equipment.
Under the tender, Saatvik has been awarded a 600 MWp capacity package with an aggregate order value of ₹1,041.63 crore. The order is scheduled to be executed by December 2027.
The order adds to Saatvik Green Energy’s order book and strengthens its participation in utility-scale solar projects requiring domestically manufactured solar equipment. The company said the selection reflects confidence in its manufacturing capabilities, product quality, and execution track record.
Commenting on the development, Prashant Mathur, CEO, Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said the 600 MWp order is significant in terms of both its scale and its alignment with India’s growing focus on domestic solar manufacturing. He added that the order reflects the company’s strategy of building an integrated solar manufacturing value chain in India.
Saatvik currently has a 4.86 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Ambala. The company is also expanding its integrated manufacturing capabilities in Odisha, with Phase I comprising 2.4 GW of solar cell and 4 GW of module capacity. A further 3.6 GW of cell capacity has been proposed under Phase II.
The company said its Odisha cell facility is progressing towards ALMM List-II enlistment, which would strengthen its ability to meet evolving domestic-content requirements for solar projects in India.
According to Saatvik Green Energy, the SECI order is aligned with India’s broader efforts to strengthen domestic renewable energy manufacturing and support greater energy self-sufficiency. The order also supports the government’s Make in India initiative by contributing to demand for domestically manufactured solar modules and cells. With execution scheduled through December 2027, the project is expected to support the company’s manufacturing operations while contributing to the development of India’s domestic solar equipment supply chain.
