SECI Invites Bids for PMU Procurement for 100 MW Solar-BESS Project in Chhattisgarh

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has invited online bids for the procurement of a Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) for the 100 MW Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) with 40 MW/120 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project at Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.

The scope of the tender covers the procurement of a Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) for the 100 MW SPV with 40 MW/120 MWh BESS Project located at Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.

The tender was published on 6 August 2026. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 12 August 2026. The deadline for both online and offline bid submissions is 27 August 2026, while the bids will be opened on the same day.

The tender carries a bid processing fee of ₹5,900 and requires an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹72,000. The selected bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) of 5%, valid for a period of 8 months and 15 days.

Interested bidders may participate in the tender through the designated online procurement portal in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender document.

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) is the foremost Navratna CPSU dedicated to the growth and development of Renewable Energy (RE) capacity in India.

To realise India’s ambitious RE targets, the Government of India designated SECI as a nodal agency to enable meeting the growing energy demand through RE and reducing the dependence on fossil fuels. Looking at the huge success of SECI’s performance over the years, the government has appointed other agencies also, designating these as Renewable Energy Implementing Agencies (REIAs), for working towards the common goal of RE expansion.
