ACME Solar Holdings has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW / 1,200 MWh ISTS-connected assured peak power project, strengthening its growing presence in India’s Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) segment.
The project was awarded under SECI’s FDRE Tranche-VII tender following the Letter of Award (LOA) issued on February 10, 2026. The tender was conducted under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines, with the e-reverse auction held on February 2, 2026.
Under the agreement, ACME Solar will supply four hours of assured peak power exclusively during non-solar hours while maintaining a minimum annual availability requirement of 85%. The project will utilize ACME Solar’s existing night-time transmission connectivity at high irradiation locations and will be connected through Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) substations.
With the signing of this PPA with SECI, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed portfolio has now reached 6,570 MW out of its total contracted portfolio of 8,070 MW.
The company currently operates a diversified renewable energy portfolio spanning solar, wind, hybrid, storage, and FDRE solutions. ACME Solar has an operational contracted capacity of 2,990 MW and around 2.7 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity, while an additional 5,080 MW capacity, including nearly 18 GWh of BESS installations, remains under construction.
Backed by its in-house EPC and O&M capabilities, ACME Solar continues to strengthen its position in India’s rapidly expanding renewable and energy storage ecosystem.
