Advait Energy Wins Rs. 27.73 Crore PTCUL Transmission Project in Uttarakhand

Advait Energy Transitions Limited has announced a major new contract win, securing a ₹27.73 crore order from the Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd (PTCUL) for a critical grid modernisation project, further cementing its role in upgrading India’s power transmission infrastructure.

Under this new agreement, Advait Energy Transitions will spearhead a High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) reconductoring project on the crucial 132 kV Rishikesh–T Point–Chilla–Bhupatwala transmission line in Uttarakhand.

Upgrading for a Greener, More Efficient Grid

The core of the project involves replacing the line’s ageing Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) Panther conductors with state-of-the-art HTLS conductors. This technology upgrade allows the existing transmission infrastructure to carry significantly higher power loads while minimising energy losses and preventing line sag.

“Modernising our existing lines is one of the fastest, most cost-effective ways to strengthen grid reliability,” said a spokesperson from Advait Energy Transitions. “By upgrading to HTLS conductors, we are helping PTCUL drastically improve transmission efficiency and meet the growing power demands of Uttarakhand without the need for extensive new right-of-way corridors.”

This project marks another milestone for Advait Energy Transitions as it continues to deliver advanced, high-performance utility infrastructure solutions that support India’s transition toward a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
