Avaada Group has introduced a 745 Wp Made-in-India N-Type Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) solar module at Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026, held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida from October 22 to 24. The company also showcased rooftop solar kits and battery energy storage solutions for residential, agricultural and commercial applications.
Heeralal Nagar, Rajasthan’s Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge), unveiled the new Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) module at the exhibition.
The glass-to-glass solar module offers a maximum output of 745 watts-peak (Wp) and a module efficiency of 23.98%. It features 132 half-cells and an 18-busbar architecture designed to improve power density and energy generation.
Avaada Expands Its Solar Manufacturing Portfolio
At REI Expo 2026, Avaada displayed its range of N-Type TOPCon glass-to-glass solar modules, including models rated at up to 640 Wp with efficiencies of up to 23.7%. The portfolio also includes G12R and G12 DCR modules with power ratings of up to 745 Wp.
The modules incorporate features aimed at improving performance under varying operating conditions, including reduced light-induced degradation, low-light performance, temperature coefficients and bifacial energy generation.
Avaada has 6 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity, of which 3 GW is operational. The remaining 3 GW capacity is at an advanced stage of commissioning. The company also operates 8.5 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity.
Rooftop Solar Kits for Residential and Commercial Use
The company showcased ready-to-install rooftop solar kits designed for households, shops, farms and commercial establishments. The kits include solar inverters, electrical protection systems, earthing equipment and connectors to simplify installation.
The integrated solutions are intended to support rooftop solar adoption across different consumer segments by bringing essential system components together in a single package.
Avaada HALO Battery Energy Storage System
Avaada also presented Avaada HALO, an integrated battery energy storage system designed to store electricity for use when required. The system combines a hybrid inverter with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and can be monitored through the Avaada mobile application.
HALO supports configurations of up to four stacked units and delivers up to 10 kW of continuous power. During power outages, it can provide up to 11.5 kW with solar support, depending on operating conditions.
The system is designed to help users store electricity and manage power availability during outages and periods when solar generation is insufficient.
Visitors and Interactive Displays at REI Expo
Avaada’s exhibition pavilion received visitors, including John Swinney, First Minister of Scotland, and Ravi Kishan, Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur.
The pavilion also featured interactive activities, including a clean-energy quiz and a virtual reality experience demonstrating the company’s solar manufacturing operations.
Through its participation in REI Expo 2026, Avaada showcased its solar module manufacturing capabilities alongside rooftop solar and battery storage products, covering multiple segments of the renewable energy value chain.
