Coperion Launches RF400 Roller Feeder for Advanced Battery Electrode Dry Coating

Coperion Launches RF400 Roller Feeder for Advanced Battery Electrode Dry Coating

As the demand for high-performance batteries continues to surge, manufacturers face increasing challenges in ensuring the precise and reliable delivery of the electrode blend directly into the calender gap in dry battery electrode coating processes.

The RF400 directly addresses these problems by providing a cutting-edge feeding system that ensures even material distribution, cuts down on waste, and boosts overall production efficiency. It uses a special, cutting-edge roller technology to make sure that electrode dry blends are deposited evenly and consistently, reducing differences that can cause production problems. The grooved feed roller and smooth scraper roller work together to feed the material gently and evenly, without any material bridging in the outlet. The calender roller below also has a coating width that can be changed up to 400 mm. The RF400 is a great choice for use in labs and pilot-scale production settings.

Designed with user-friendly controls and adjustable settings, the roller feeder allows operators to easily customize parameters for their specific applications. The RF400 is engineered for durability and reliability, ensuring long-term performance in demanding manufacturing environments.

The new Coperion K-Tron Roller Feeder works perfectly with the already-proven KCM-III controls and Smart Force Transducer (SFT) weighing technology, making material handling more accurate and reliable than ever. This combination lets manufacturers keep track of and change things in real time, which lets them keep precise feed rates and adjust to different types of materials. The RF400 not only makes operations more efficient, but it also helps manufacturers reach their quality and production goals with this cutting-edge technology. The RF400 helps manufacturers use materials more efficiently, cut down on waste, and use less energy. This helps the industry move toward more advanced technologies and more environmentally friendly ways of making things.
