Cosmic Solar EPC Secures ₹574 Crore Solar EPC Orders

Cosmic Solar EPC Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cosmic PV Power Limited, has secured three solar EPC project orders worth ₹574 crore, while also commencing operations from a new corporate office in Mumbai and appointing Avi Mittal as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 2026.

The company said the three developments mark a new phase of expansion as it seeks to strengthen its solar EPC execution capabilities and expand its presence across India. The new Mumbai office will focus on business development, customer engagement, project management and partnerships, particularly across Western and Central India.

₹574 Crore Solar EPC Order Book

The company has added ₹574 crore worth of solar EPC projects to its new business order book. While the announcement does not disclose the individual project capacities, locations, customers or project-wise values, it said the orders strengthen its execution pipeline and reflect growing customer confidence in its engineering and project execution capabilities.

Cosmic Solar EPC provides end-to-end solar EPC services covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations and maintenance, with projects spanning commercial and industrial as well as residential applications.

The company said the new orders will support its expansion as demand for solar power and related project execution services continues to grow in India.

Mumbai Office to Support Regional Expansion

Cosmic Solar EPC has commenced operations from its new corporate office at A-803, The Epicentre, Wadhwa, Waman Tukaram Patil Marg, Chembur (East), Mumbai – 400071.

The Mumbai office will serve as a strategic base for business development, customer engagement, project management and partnerships across Western and Central India. The move adds to the company’s existing registered office in Surat, Gujarat, giving it a larger operational presence in two key business centres.

According to the company, the Mumbai presence is intended to enable closer engagement with customers and stakeholders and support faster execution as its project pipeline expands.

Avi Mittal Appointed CEO

Cosmic Solar EPC has appointed Avi Mittal as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 2026. The company said Mittal brings experience across renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and strategic investments, along with international academic and business exposure.

As CEO, he will be responsible for the company’s next phase of growth, including operational expansion, technology adoption, strategic partnerships and execution of renewable-energy projects.

Commenting on his appointment, Avi Mittal, CEO, Cosmic Solar EPC Private Limited, said: “This is an exciting phase for Cosmic Solar EPC Private Limited and for India’s renewable energy sector. The commencement of operations from our Mumbai Corporate Office and the addition of ₹574 crore in the order book reflects the trust our customers and partners have placed in us. We remain committed to delivering high-quality, technology-driven solar solutions while expanding our footprint across India. Together with our talented team, we aim to build one of the country’s most trusted and admired renewable energy EPC companies.”

Parent Company Expands Manufacturing Base

The EPC expansion comes alongside manufacturing investments by Cosmic PV Power Limited. The company said its parent has recently received Consent to Establish (CTE) for an upcoming solar cell manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh and has commenced construction of a 1.1 GW solar cell manufacturing line.

According to the announcement, the manufacturing investment is expected to support greater backward integration within the group, strengthen its manufacturing ecosystem and improve supply-chain efficiencies. The company also said the facility could provide Cosmic Solar EPC access to domestically manufactured solar cells and energy storage solutions.

However, the announcement does not provide the project location within Madhya Pradesh, investment value, expected commissioning date or detailed cell technology specifications for the 1.1 GW manufacturing line, so these details should not be added without further verification.

Cosmic Solar EPC is headquartered in Surat, Gujarat, with its new corporate office in Mumbai. The company is a 100% subsidiary of Cosmic PV Power Limited and operates in India’s solar EPC market across commercial, industrial and residential projects.
