Indian Green & Battery Stocks Roundup – October 24

Battery and green energy stocks counters had a mixed day on 26 August 2025, but High Energy Batteries and CLN Energy Ltd. stood out in particular. Investor enthusiasm for niche energy storage innovators and clean-tech players continued to help the market hold firm, even while sentiment remained overall cautious.

High Energy Batteries traded ₹663.65, up 2.12%, and demand around advanced battery solutions for defence and electric mobility remained strong, as commodities focused on clean energy. CLN Energy Ltd. had solid gains of 1.53% to ₹579.95 and secured its position in the list of solid performers in the renewable-linked storage space.

In the battery segment, Panasonic Energy India traded 1.11% higher to ₹341.4, confirming ongoing momentum in compact storage and consumer battery markets.

On the other hand, a few leading names witnessed mild profit-taking. Eveready Industries India Ltd. slipped 4.97% to ₹417.65, while Tata Power, a bellwether of India’s renewable energy space, eased 1.44% to ₹377.75. Waaree Technologies (-1.20%), HBL Engineering Ltd. (-1.15%), and Amara Raja Energy (-1.08%) also saw minor corrections, seen largely as routine market consolidation.

Analysts are seeing that the continuation of growth in High Energy Batteries and CLN Energy demonstrate a strong confidence for investors in India’s energy storage transition despite short-term fluctuations in the market. coupled with the government’s support of the switch to EVs, rooftop solar energy and hybrid systems for industrial uses, battery stocks and clean-tech are likely to remain steady players at the forefront of India’s green growth journey.

Key Highlights – August 26

  • Top Gainer: High Energy Batteries (+2.12%)
  • Other Strong Performer: CLN Energy Ltd (+1.53%), Panasonic Energy India (+1.11%)
  • Mild Decliners: Eveready Industries (-4.97%), Tata Power (-1.44%), Waaree Technologies (-1.20%), HBL Engineering (-1.15%), Amara Raja Energy (-1.08%)

Despite some declines, India’s battery and clean energy counters continue to display resilience and long-term strength, led by growing demand for advanced storage solutions across sectors.
