KEC International Limited has secured new orders worth ₹1,030 crore across its Transmission and Distribution (T&D), Renewables, and Cables and Conductors businesses. The orders span Bhutan, Saudi Arabia, the Americas and India, taking the company’s year-to-date order intake beyond ₹8,600 crore.
The latest order wins strengthen KEC International’s presence in domestic and international markets, with projects covering power transmission infrastructure, wind energy development and the supply of cables and conductors.
KEC International Wins Transmission Orders in Bhutan and Saudi Arabia
KEC International’s T&D business has secured orders for a 400 kV transmission line in Bhutan and a 380 kV transmission line in Saudi Arabia. The company has also received an order for the supply of transmission towers, hardware and poles in the Americas.
The Bhutan project marks KEC International’s return to the market, while the Saudi Arabian order expands its portfolio of international transmission projects. These wins add to the company’s presence in the global power infrastructure segment.
Company Secures 300+ MW Wind Project in Southern India
The company’s Renewables business has won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order for a wind power project with a capacity exceeding 300 MW in southern India. The project has been awarded by a private developer.
According to the company, the order brings a new major client into its portfolio and strengthens its position in India’s wind energy EPC market. The project adds to its renewable energy business alongside its established transmission and distribution operations.
KEC International has also secured multiple orders for cables and conductors across India and international markets. These contracts have contributed to its year-to-date order intake exceeding ₹8,600 crore.
Management Highlights Growth Across Business Segments
Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEC International, said the T&D business had strengthened its order book through multiple wins, including the company’s re-entry into Bhutan. He also noted continued momentum in the Renewables business, particularly in wind EPC projects.
The company’s latest order announcements reflect demand across power transmission infrastructure, renewable energy projects and electrical equipment supply markets. KEC International’s share price closed at ₹349.60 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 8, 2026, down 3.56% from its previous close.
