KPI Green Energy Limited has executed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited for a 300 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind power project, strengthening its utility-scale renewable energy portfolio and supporting its long-term expansion strategy.
According to the company’s regulatory, the project was secured through a competitive bidding process and will operate under a 25-year PPA at a fixed tariff of ₹3.64 per unit. Power supply from the project is scheduled to commence within 24 months from the effective date of the agreement.
300 MW Wind Project Strengthens Portfolio
The long-term agreement is expected to provide KPI Green Energy with predictable revenue visibility and stable cash flows over the project’s operational period. The addition of 300 MW of wind capacity will further strengthen the company’s utility-scale renewable energy portfolio and diversify its generation capabilities.
The project also aligns with KPI Green Energy’s broader expansion plans under its KP 3.0 roadmap, which targets the development of 10 GW of owned independent power producer (IPP) capacity by FY32.
Supports Long-Term Renewable Energy Expansion
The execution of the PPA marks another milestone in KPI Green Energy’s efforts to expand its renewable energy generation business. The company continues to pursue opportunities across clean energy projects as India increases investments in renewable power generation and transmission infrastructure.
With a fixed tariff and a 25-year agreement, the project is expected to support long-term operational planning while contributing to the company’s renewable energy capacity expansion.
