Karamtara Engineering Bags ₹1,199 Crore Orders in Transmission and Renewable Energy

Karamtara Engineering Limited has secured new orders worth approximately ₹1,199 crore across its power transmission and renewable energy businesses, strengthening its order book amid continued investment in electricity infrastructure and clean energy projects.

The latest order wins are expected to improve the company’s revenue visibility during the execution period and support its business growth. According to the company, the contracts reflect customer confidence in its manufacturing capabilities, product quality and project execution expertise.

Commenting on the development, Rajiv Singh, Joint Managing Director of Karamtara Engineering, said the orders had strengthened the company’s order book and reinforced its position as a partner in India’s energy transition. He also highlighted the company’s focus on operational excellence, sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Product Portfolio Supports Energy Infrastructure Development

Karamtara Engineering manufactures products for renewable energy projects and electricity transmission networks. Its portfolio includes solar module mounting structures, solar tracker piles and piers, solar torque tubes, lattice transmission towers, angular and tubular wind towers, fasteners, and conductor and insulator hardware fittings.

These products support solar and wind power installations, alongside the development and strengthening of electricity transmission infrastructure.

The company is also working to expand its product portfolio into emerging industrial segments. Its planned and developing product lines include solar stamping parts, pre-engineered buildings for data centres and battery energy storage systems (BESS). These areas could create additional opportunities as demand grows for renewable energy equipment, grid infrastructure and energy storage solutions.

Manufacturing and International Expansion

Karamtara Engineering operates manufacturing facilities across India and has an established presence in Italy. The company is also preparing to establish a new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia, which could expand its international production and supply capabilities.

Its products reach customers in more than 50 countries. The customer base includes global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors, and independent power producers (IPPs).

This international presence enables the company to participate in renewable energy and transmission infrastructure markets beyond India.

Order Win Strengthens Growth Prospects

The ₹1,199 crore order win comes as investment in renewable energy generation and electricity transmission infrastructure continues to create demand for specialised equipment and components.

With its existing manufacturing capabilities, international customer network and plans to expand into areas such as battery energy storage, Karamtara Engineering is seeking to strengthen its presence across the evolving energy infrastructure value chain.

The company expects the new contracts to support its order book and provide greater visibility for business execution in the coming period.
