Motovolt Mobility Pvt. Ltd. has teamed up with Swobbee to revolutionize electric two-wheeler accessibility in the country.
This strategic alliance aims to address challenges concerning EVs, with a primary focus on enhancing battery charging time, cost efficiency, and lifespan to elevate the overall user experience.
The partnership sets a bold vision of establishing 200 battery swapping stations across India within the next 24 months, backed by a substantial technological and financial investment exceeding 7 digits USD.
The initiative has commenced with the launch of the first two Swobbee battery swapping and charging stations in Delhi and Kolkata. Anticipated outcomes include generating over $10 million USD in revenue and achieving profitability within five years.
Motovolt, a key player in the e-two wheeler industry, has been actively addressing these challenges through continuous research, development efforts, and industry collaborations. With Swobbee’s expertise in LEV energy services, this partnership aligns seamlessly with Motovolt’s mission.
Additionally, Motovolt is expanding its reach into the e-scooters segment, emphasizing their commitment to providing sustainable and convenient mobility solutions.
Tushar Choudhary, Founder & CEO of Motovolt Mobility, emphasized their dedication to customer-centric solutions, highlighting Swobbee’s battery swapping services as a unique proposition that offers customers freedom from upfront battery purchases. He underscored the advantages of optimal battery performance, safe charging, and proper end-of-life battery disposal. Moreover, the collaboration aims to provide Swobbee access to Motovolt’s product portfolio and customer base for establishing a nationwide battery swapping network.
Initially targeting business customers, including delivery and transport services, Swobbee stations will gradually become accessible to private customers. These stations are designed to integrate diverse LEV battery types from different manufacturers, accommodating various technologies and cell chemistries.

Currently available to Motovolt’s commercial customers in Delhi and Kolkata, the collaboration aims to onboard other LEV OEMs and establish a comprehensive battery swapping network across India.
