Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) has awarded the Phase-X 250 MW grid-connected wind power auction to four leading renewable developers, marking a significant step in expanding wind capacity under competitive tariffs.
GUVNL’s wind energy tender, floated in September 2025, drew strong developer interest and concluded with competitive tariff discovery between ₹3.43/kWh and ₹3.44/kWh. The successful bidders — Patel Infrastructure, Alfanar Power, KP Energy, and Powerica — will enter into 25-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) with the utility for setting up wind projects across India.
