Solarium Green Energy

Solarium Green Energy Limited has secured an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) subcontract worth ₹186.53 crore for a 50 MW solar power project under Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO) in Maharashtra.

The project win strengthens Solarium Green Energy’s position in India’s growing renewable energy market and highlights the company’s expanding role in large-scale solar project development and execution. Under the EPC subcontract, the company will be responsible for key project activities, including engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of the solar power plant.

The 50 MW solar project is part of Maharashtra’s ongoing efforts to increase renewable energy capacity and support the state’s clean energy transition. Solar power projects under MAHAGENCO are aimed at enhancing renewable energy generation while reducing dependence on conventional power sources.

Solarium Green Energy has been expanding its presence across the solar energy value chain, focusing on utility-scale solar projects, EPC services, and renewable energy solutions. The latest order adds to the company’s portfolio of solar infrastructure projects and reflects the rising demand for reliable EPC partners in India’s renewable energy sector.

The Indian solar sector has witnessed strong growth in recent years, supported by government initiatives, increasing investments, and rising adoption of renewable energy by utilities and industries. EPC companies are playing a crucial role in delivering solar capacity by managing complex project execution activities, from design and equipment sourcing to installation and commissioning.

The ₹186.53 crore order is expected to contribute to Solarium Green Energy’s project pipeline and strengthen its capabilities in executing large-scale solar installations. The company’s involvement in the MAHAGENCO project aligns with broader national goals of expanding renewable energy capacity and accelerating the transition towards cleaner power generation.

With India targeting significant growth in renewable energy capacity, projects such as the 50 MW solar installation in Maharashtra are expected to support the country’s sustainability and energy security objectives.
