Sunkind India Limited strengthens the order book for FY 26–27 by securing about 250 MWp of distributed open access solar EPC orders.

Sunkind India Limited, a supplier of integrated renewable energy EPC and sustainable energy solutions, has acquired several distributed open access solar EPC orders aggregating around 250 MWp until July 2026. Serving commercial and industrial clients in the steel, packaging, manufacturing, and independent power producer (IPP) industries throughout Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu, the projects expand the company’s order book and pan-India execution reach.

The new order wins underscore the growing adoption of distributed open access renewable energy by commercial and industrial consumers seeking to optimise energy costs, enhance energy security and advance their sustainability objectives.

Commenting on the development, Hanish Gupta, Founder & Managing Director, Sunkind India Limited, said, “The addition of approximately 250 MWp of distributed open access EPC orders reflects the confidence our customers place in Sunkind’s engineering capabilities, execution standards and commitment to quality. We continue to witness strong demand from commercial and industrial enterprises as renewable energy becomes an integral part of their long-term business strategy. These orders strengthen our execution pipeline and reinforce our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality clean energy solutions with a strong focus on timely execution, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.”

Virpal Yadav, Chief Operating Officer, Sunkind India Limited, added, “Our growing order book reflects the strength of Sunkind’s integrated EPC capabilities and disciplined execution model. Backed by in-house expertise across engineering, procurement, project management and construction, we are well positioned to execute multiple distributed open access projects simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and timely delivery. As we continue to expand our presence across India, we remain focused on execution excellence and building long-term customer relationships.”

The newly secured projects comprise distributed open access ground-mounted solar power projects across multiple states, further diversifying the Company’s project portfolio and strengthening its position in one of India’s fastest-growing renewable energy segments.

Over the years, Sunkind has expanded beyond conventional EPC services into mounting structures manufacturing, renewable asset management and integrated clean energy solutions, strengthening its presence across the renewable energy value chain. The Company serves customers across industries including steel, manufacturing, textiles, food processing, packaging and infrastructure through a diversified portfolio of clean energy solutions.

India’s renewable energy sector continues to witness strong momentum, driven by supportive government policies, increasing corporate demand for green power, expanding distributed open access adoption, domestic manufacturing initiatives and growing investments in energy storage solutions. Sunkind remains committed to supporting India’s clean energy transition through reliable, efficient and scalable renewable energy solutions.

Sunkind India Limited is an integrated renewable energy company engaged in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of solar power projects and clean energy solutions across the commercial & industrial and utility-scale segments. The Company delivers turnkey renewable energy projects under both CAPEX and OPEX (RESCO) models and provides comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services supported by advanced digital monitoring and performance analytics. As part of its long-term growth strategy, the Sunkind Group has expanded into mounting structures manufacturing, renewable asset management and PV module manufacturing, strengthening its backward integration across the renewable energy value chain. The Company is progressing with its planned PV module manufacturing facility at Mahindra World City, Jaipur, intended to manufacture high-efficiency DCR-compliant N-Type TOPCon PV modules for the domestic market, subject to receipt of the necessary approvals and completion of implementation activities.
