Suzlon Energy reported revenue from operations of ₹4,869.05 crore in the second quarter of financial year 2027 (Q2 FY27), registering a 26% year-on-year (YoY) increase from ₹3,865.54 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. However, the company’s net profit declined 69.2% YoY to ₹394.15 crore, compared with ₹1,279.44 crore in Q2 FY26, primarily due to a tax adjustment recorded in the year-ago quarter.
On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, revenue increased 27.5% from ₹3,819.36 crore in Q1 FY27, while net profit rose 29.1% from ₹305.22 crore.
For the first half of FY27 (H1 FY27), Suzlon recorded revenue from operations of ₹8,688.41 crore, up 24.4% from ₹6,982.87 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Suzlon reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of ₹720 crore in Q2 FY27, representing a 21% increase quarter-on-quarter.
The company commissioned 454 MW of wind power projects during the quarter, marking a 69% increase compared with the previous quarter. Its total commissioning for H1 FY27 reached 723 MW.
During the first half of FY27, Suzlon secured more than 1.5 GW of new orders, while its order book exceeded 6 GW. The company’s project portfolio includes developments for Juniper Green Energy, Aditya Birla Renewables, Zelestra, Brookfield and Yanara.
Suzlon has established domestic wind turbine manufacturing capacity of 4,500 MW across 15 specialised manufacturing hubs in India. Its manufacturing infrastructure includes three smart factories located in Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The company’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business accounted for a growing share of its project execution activities. Suzlon is working towards increasing the EPC segment’s contribution as part of its broader business expansion strategy.
The company’s Q2 FY27 results reflect higher revenue and increased project commissioning, alongside a year-on-year decline in reported net profit due to the impact of the previous year’s tax adjustment.
