REnergy Dynamics has received the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor Award in the compressed biogas (CBG) sector at the 6th India Green Energy Awards (IGEA) 2026, organised by the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE). The award recognises the company’s contribution to developing compressed biogas infrastructure in India.
The award was presented by Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy and Power, Government of India, who attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
REnergy Dynamics operates as an integrated bioenergy platform focused on the development and execution of compressed biogas and sustainable bioenergy projects.
Recognition for Compressed Biogas Project Execution
The recognition highlights the company’s role in the development of India’s CBG sector, where engineering, procurement and construction capabilities are essential for establishing operational facilities.
CBG infrastructure development involves project planning, equipment integration and execution to convert organic waste and biomass into usable fuel. EPC contractors play a key role in bringing these projects from the design stage to operational facilities.
The award also acknowledges the collective efforts of REnergy Dynamics’ teams and project partners in delivering compressed biogas projects.
CBG’s Role in India’s Renewable Energy Sector
Compressed biogas is gaining importance in India’s renewable energy landscape as the country explores alternative fuels, improved waste utilisation and diversification of its energy mix.
Produced by processing organic waste and biomass, CBG can utilise agricultural residues and other biodegradable materials as feedstock. The process converts these resources into fuel while supporting more efficient resource utilisation and waste management.
The development of CBG infrastructure is an important part of expanding bioenergy applications. Effective project execution and collaboration among industry participants are essential to establishing facilities that support the wider adoption of compressed biogas.
The recognition at IGEA 2026 highlights the role of EPC expertise and industry partnerships in developing India’s emerging bioenergy ecosystem.
