Jinko ESS Signs 100 MWh BESS Deal with German Integrator for Central Europe Projects

Jinko ESS, the energy storage arm of JinkoSolar, has entered into a 100 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) supply agreement with German energy storage integrator everyray. The partnership will support the rollout of utility-scale energy storage projects across Central Europe.

Signed at Intersolar Europe, the agreement is expected to pave the way for a series of upcoming battery storage deployments in the region. The collaboration brings together everyray’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) expertise and Jinko ESS’s energy storage solutions and global supply capabilities.

The companies said the partnership aims to accelerate the rollout of high-quality battery energy storage systems that enhance grid flexibility, facilitate renewable energy integration and support the evolving electricity market across Central Europe.

The agreement was signed by Pietro Peterlana, Senior Sales Manager – Central Europe at Jinko ESS, and Fabian Beyer, Managing Director and Co-Founder of everyray, during the exhibition. Commenting on the partnership, Roberto Murgioni, General Manager of Jinko ESS Europe, said the company remains focused on delivering scalable energy storage solutions as Europe’s energy transition gathers pace.

“As Europe’s energy transition accelerates, we are determined in delivering reliable and scalable energy storage solutions. We are pleased to establish this supply agreement with everyray, reinforcing our shared commitment to supporting grid stability, renewable energy integration, and the continued growth of the energy storage market across Central Europe,” Murgioni said.

Beyer said the agreement would provide both supply security and a robust technology platform to accelerate everyray’s battery storage project pipeline, particularly in Germany. “As an integration-focused EPC, our job is to turn storage hardware into reliable, grid-compliant assets that perform for decades. The 100 MWh framework with Jinko ESS gives us both the supply security and the technical foundation to accelerate our project pipeline across Germany, and to bring high-quality storage capacity online faster for our customers,” he said.

The agreement comes as demand for battery energy storage systems continues to grow across Europe, driven by increasing renewable energy penetration, grid balancing requirements and the need for greater flexibility in electricity markets.

Jinko ESS said it remains committed to expanding its presence in the European energy storage market through technology innovation, project execution and strategic partnerships aimed at supporting customers’ long-term energy transition and sustainability goals.
