Mahagenco Renewable Energy Limited (MahaGenco REL) has invited bids for providing consultancy and project management services for the development of eight 25 MW grid-connected solar projects along with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Maharashtra.

The solar projects tender includes:

Preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR)
Bid specifications
Tendering support
Engineering review and approvals
Material inspections, and complete Project Management Services (PMS)

The projects aim to strengthen Maharashtra’s renewable energy capacity while improving grid stability through integrated battery storage systems.

According to the tender notice, the selected bidder will support the execution of 8 × 25 MW solar power plants integrated with BESS technology. The initiative reflects the growing focus on utility-scale renewable infrastructure and reliable energy storage solutions in India’s clean energy transition.

The tender, issued under Tender No. MREL/2026-27/SOLAR HYBRID PMS/T03 dated May 19, 2026, will be conducted through the Bharat Electronictender portal. Interested bidders can download the tender documents after payment of a tender fee of Rs. 17,700, including GST.

The last date for acceptance of queries and comments from bidders is June 11, 2026, while the pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 12, 2026, in online mode. The final date for submission of online bids along with EMD is June 29, 2026, and techno-commercial bids will be opened on July 1, 2026.
