SKF India (Industrial) Appoints Nilesh Vaidya as Head of Seals, ISEA region

SKF India (Industrial), a leading provider of technology and solutions for industrial applications, has appointed Nilesh Vaidya as Head of Seals for the ISEA region, covering India and Southeast Asia.

As demand for high-performance sealing solutions accelerates across key industrial sectors in the ISEA region, Nilesh will drive growth for SKF India (Industrial)’s advanced seals portfolio with focus on market share expansion, channel development, key account deepening, and building high-performing teams across diverse markets.

On his appointment, Nilesh Vaidya, Head of Seals, ISEA, SKF India (Industrial) said, “As I take on this role, my priority is clear: strengthen SKF’s position in the seals market across India and Southeast Asia. Growth will come from getting closer to customers, deepening key account partnerships and strengthening the channels that connect our expertise to local needs. Together with our teams and partners, I will focus on translating SKF’s sealing capabilities into measurable customer value and that value into sustained business growth.”

Nilesh brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience across industrial manufacturing, process automation, and water technologies, with a track record of business expansion across India and Southeast Asia.

His regional market knowledge, channel expertise and multi-country leadership will support SKF India (Industrial)’s seals business growth.

Most recently, he was the MD at GF Piping Systems in Jakarta, leading the business across mining, industrial utilities, and building technologies. Previously, he spent nearly seven years at Danaher Corporation, leading growth strategy for the Water Quality Platform as Director, Business Development for South ASEAN, and holding leadership roles at Hach India. His earlier career included over a decade at Sandvik Coromant, while he began his career at Kirloskar Oil Engines.

Since 1907, SKF has been making some of the world’s most innovative bearings, seals, lubrication systems, condition monitoring solutions, and services to reduce friction. Less friction means more energy saved and by reducing it, we make industry smarter, more competitive, and more energy efficient, building a more sustainable future where we can all do more with less. SKF is represented in approximately 130 countries and has around 17,000 distributor locations worldwide. Annual sales in 2025 were SEK 91,583 million and the number of employees was 37,271.
