Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation Limited (TGREDCO) and Telangana Power Generation Corporation Limited (TGGENCO) have invited bids for the procurement of renewable energy across solar, wind, round-the-clock power and battery energy storage projects.
The tenders cover multiple procurement categories, including 3,000 MW of solar power integrated with a 6,000 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), 800 MW of wind power, 2,000 MW of Renewable Energy Round-the-Clock (RE-RTC) power, and a 2,000 MWh Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) battery energy storage system.
The procurement initiative aims to strengthen Telangana’s long-term energy security and support a reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity supply, particularly during periods of peak demand. By combining renewable energy with storage solutions, the tenders seek to support the integration and availability of clean power to meet the state’s evolving electricity requirements.
The last date for bid submission is November 4, 2026.
