Senvion India wins 54.6 MW C&I order from Prozeal Green for 13 units of 4.2M160 wind turbines in Gujarat

Senvion India has received a 54.6 MW wind project order from Prozeal Green Private Limited under the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment. The project will feature 13 units of Senvion’s 4.2M160 wind turbine generators, uprated to 4.4 MW each, with a hub height of 140 metres. The wind turbines will be installed in Gujarat.

The scope includes the supply, installation, and comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) of the wind turbines for up to 25 years. Deliveries and project execution are progressing as scheduled, with the first wind turbine generator (WTG) successfully installed earlier this month.
Built on Senvion’s modular 4XM platform, the 4.2M160 features a 160‑metre rotor and supports hub heights of up to 140 metres, enabling higher energy generation and deployment flexibility across diverse site conditions.
Once commissioned, the turbines will be supported through Senvion’s service capabilities and its digital monitoring platform, FLEETPRO™, enabling remote diagnostics, performance insights, and proactive interventions to maximise turbine availability throughout the project lifecycle.
Shreyas B Suvarna, CEO, Senvion India, said, “We are pleased to partner with Prozeal Green on this project. The 4.2M160 wind turbine (uprated to 4.4MW), engineered for Indian wind conditions and built on our modular 4XM architecture with a strong level of localisation, reflects the capability we continue to strengthen in India. We appreciate Prozeal’s confidence in Senvion’s technology. With our long‑term O&M commitment and remote monitoring capabilities, our focus is clear: strong execution from commissioning and dependable performance throughout the life of the project.”
Manan Thakkar, CEO,Prozeal Green Private Limited, said,“This partnership with Senvion aligns with our strategy of investing in high‑performance, future‑ready renewable assets. The combination of their 4.2M160 technology and service capability supports our long‑term growth in the C&I wind sector.”
Senvion is one of the leading wind turbine manufacturers in India, with operations in the country since 2016. The company has established a strong presence through a world-class in-house R&D setup, a manufacturing capacity of ~1.5 GW/annum, and an operational fleet exceeding 1.6 GW nationwide.
Senvion plays a key role in the development and execution of wind energy projects across the country, with a strong focus on innovation, localisation, specialised project development and sustainability. The company has deployed advanced turbine technologies, including 120m, 130m, and 160m rotor platforms, with power ratings ranging from 2.3 MW to 4.2 MW, designed to optimise performance for global wind regimes.
Committed to clean energy and sustainable growth, Senvion continues to support India’s transition to a greener future.
