Ola Electric has expanded its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of the new S1 X+ 5.2 kWh variant, positioned at the top of the S1 X range. The e-scooter is introduced at an introductory price of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India), valid until April 15, 2026, after which prices are expected to increase.
The new version is for buyers in the mid-price range who want longer-range electric mobility. It focuses on better performance and integrating technology in-house.

The company continues to manufacture its vehicles at its Tamil Nadu facility, while its battery innovation centre in Bengaluru focuses on advancing cell technology.
Product Lineup and Positioning
The newly launched variant joins Ola’s existing lineup, which includes:
- S1 X+ (4 kWh variant) priced at Rs 1,02,499 with a claimed range of 242 km
- Gen 3 models such as S1 Pro and S1 Pro+, offering multiple battery configurations
The S1 X range is made for people who want good performance and don’t want to spend a lot of money.

The TVS iQube is the most popular model in the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh’s market.

Despite strong product updates, Ola Electric has faced fluctuating market performance. According to VAHAN data:

- Recovered to fourth position by March 2026
